A tag is a keyword or term associated with a post which provides a link to related information. They help map information and make information more accessible to users.
A tag cloud displays in the left or right sidebar of your Web page. The tag cloud contains a list of tags that links to any post within a forum, group, wiki, or blog that has tags. The following example shows the documentation page with a tag cloud in the right sidebar.
Tags are ranked by the number of posts with which the tags are associated so that the most used tags have the largest font size. In the tag cloud in the example above, the Study and Search, and Chart tags display with the largest font and therefore are used with the greatest number of posts.
When the user clicks a tag, a list of posts that use the tag will be displayed. So if the user clicks on the wiki tag, Community Server opens a browser page that lists all of the associated posts, as well as the other tags associated with the posts.
