Chat Administration
A team administrator can add or delete chat channels here. Click the "Site Management" tab at the top and select "Chat" under it.
Adding a New Chat Channel
You can a more channels to the chat, you might have one for stocks, one for currencies, etc. Click the "Add Channel" button at the bottom of the window to add a new chat channel. This will add a new line to the table.
Name - Click in the name cell and type in the name you want for the new Chat Channel.
Private - Click this if you want this channel to be private. The channel will only allow access to users who are turned on by the Moderator. This is useful for a paid channel within the main team. The moderator can allow people into the private chat channel by typing the following into the private chat channel.
/allow username - This will extend membership to the user and allow him in the private channel.
/deny username - this will remove the users access to the private channel .
Moderator - Click in the cell and type in the username of the person who is to moderate the chat channel. The name is case sensitive.
Primary Channel - This is the channel that users will logon into when they first logon.
After defining the chat channel click "Update Chat Channels" at the bottom of the window to upload the change to the to the server.
Deleting a Channel
Click on the channel you want to delete and click "Delete Channel" at the bottom of the window. Then click "Update Chat Channels" at the bottom of the window to upload the channel to upload the change to the server.
